Mentorship

MZMC is happy to offer mentorship to members who would like more direct guidance in their Zen practice lives. Six teachers (Ben Connelly, Guy Gibbon, Wanda Isle, Busshō Lahn, Susan Nelson, Ted O'Toole) are available to serve as mentors for those interested in deepening their relationship with an experienced practitioner and with their own spiritual lives.

More details:

  • The mentor relationship is a three-month commitment and is renewable
  • Mentees meet with their mentors once or twice a month at MZMC
  • Dokusan or practice meetings can be part of this relationship, but mentorship is not limited to formal meetings

Our hope is that this program offers members the chance to get more one-to-one time with teachers to ask questions, get support and guidance, and get to know each other better than we might in a more strict practice setting.

For more information or to be connected with a mentor, please contact Busshō Lahn through the MZMC office.

Our mission is to help people experience a deep and quiet joy – a joy that arises whenever we are fully engaged in the work or play of this moment.
